The collaboration

A roaster and a distillery, in one bottle.

This liqueur exists because a coffee roaster and a distillery share a city. Steans Beans brings the coffee; Spirited Union brings the spirit.

01

Steans Beans

An Amsterdam specialty roaster. They source and roast the coffee to Pombay's brief, dialling in a profile that holds its own once it meets the spirit.

02

East African MicroLot coffee

A traceable East African MicroLot: small-batch, single-origin coffee with the fruit and depth that mass-market beans lose. This is the flavour at the heart of the liqueur.

What's inside

Cane and coffee, with vanilla and cacao.

A scoop of freshly roasted East African coffee beans for Pombay Coffee Liqueur

Eswatini cane spirit

The same Eswatini sugarcane spirit behind our vodka: a clean, subtly sweet base that lets the coffee lead.

African cacao

Cacao adds a bittersweet, chocolatey weight that meets the coffee halfway and rounds out the finish.

Ugandan vanilla

A measure of Ugandan vanilla lifts the whole thing: warm, floral and long, tying the coffee and cacao together.

Signature serve

Made for the Espresso Martini.

Espresso Martini

50ml Pombay Coffee Liqueur, 35ml Pombay Cane Vodka, and a fresh single shot of espresso. Shake hard over ice and double-strain into a chilled coupe; three coffee beans on top. The liqueur carries the sweetness and body, so no extra syrup is needed.

Ways to pour

Beyond the Martini.

It leads the Espresso Martini, but the liqueur's roasted depth carries longer, colder serves too. A few ways to reach for it.
